Sarah Fox
Fashion-Arts Coordinator
My name is Sarah Fox and I’m a freelance writer for numerous fabulous and frivolous publications (both online and in print) and am currently theCool Fashion-Arts Coordinator – a role that I am very excited about.
I’m originally from a wonderful town called Wakefield, just outside Leeds in West Yorkshire (if you’ve never heard of it, google ‘Chloe Mafia’ and you’ll get the picture). It is basically the North’s answer to Essex.
If you’re wanting to follow any of the Wakefield trends then girls, just slap on some fake tan and false eyelashes, whilst simultaneously forgetting to put on clothes: perfection. Boys, take style notes from JLS: their low slung jeans and foundation-covered faces are the essential basis for ‘the look’, all you have to do to complete it is wear a very low V-neck t-shirt/vest. For the optimum effect, cut the V yourself to ensure that that ‘buff’ body is on show as much as possible. Sexy.
Due to the above, I chose to escape to London: the hub of fashion itself, and I have to say that I am already a huge fan!
Personally, I think that it’s really important to showcase all that the United Kingdom has to offer. We may be small, but it’s unbelievable how much talent stems from our island. I’m all for international designers, artists, photographers etc, but sometimes the focus has to be on us Brits.
What makes theCool stand out is that they strive to find the crème de la crème of geniuses in our very own Britain.
Not only does this give me an excuse to explore the length and breadth of our remarkable country, but it also demonstrates a new approach to the way we look at all things creative.
Anyway, my job is to provide you with information about what’s going down in the fashion and arts scenes. From art fares to fashion parties, I’ll be sharing my latest endeavours via theCool.
You can also keep up to date with me on twitter, although I apologise if it’s not the most invigorating read of your life, I often neglect this networking tool, but I promise I’ll do my best: @sarahnfox
Thanks!
Sarah
