Google+ Converse Chuck HackKicking off from Wednesday, November 20th, Converse and Google+ join forces and introduce the first-ever Google+Converse Garage. The wider online Google+ community and invited art and tech visionaries will get creative with the Chuck Taylor All Star sneaker up until November 25th at the Hoxton Gallery in London!

The five-day initiative will feature a series of different workshops hosted by local creative partners including Patternity, Ashley Williams and Leafcutter John, where participants can play with a wide range of materials, learn new skills and integrate tech into the sneakers, to make something completely original.

Converse believes that unleashing the creative spirit will change the world, through a passion to customize or “hack” their sneakers in unique ways.  With this in mind, launched an experiment with Creative Social and Google+, allowing artists and techies to further express their creativity through the “Hack a Chuck” program at the Cannes Lions Festival in June 2013.

London gets the chance to experience this with the Chuck Hack Garage from the 20th – 25th November!

“We are thrilled to take the Chuck Hack concept to the next level with Google,” says Geoff Cottrill, Converse Chief Marketing Officer. “They are an ideal partner for Converse because of their restless nature to move forwards, always pushing the boundaries of how we share and connect with each other.”
