London Fashion Week: Ricardo Ramos

A collection inspired in the Kipara body painting, traditional art from the native Embera communities in Colombia, featured a wearable and minimalistic line for Ladies and Gents, where extra fine uphold lasered leathers, silk, cotton and denim among some other materials, transported the Emberá universe to a contemporary intepretation of this ancient art of body painting.
Ramos also featured this occasion his own shoe designs for ladies, carefully made by Izza Serrano in Bucaramanga-Colombia, and a selection of tribal jewellery made by Amado Ariza in Bogotá-Colombia.
Interesting prints that were showcased on equally impressive pieces from Ricardo Ramos, SS14 proved to be a great collection to date and with more to come from the brand we can expect various presentations internationally for seasons to come.
