DISTRICT MTV UK National Search for New Presenter!

With 4 days left to enter, we thought we’d remind you guys to get stuck into submitting your vids for District MTV‘s UK National search for a new presenter!

District MTV, the home of pop style, in partnership with Talenthouse and Select Model Management, earlier this August launched its open-call search for challenging, magnetic and fresh new presenters to be the face of the high-profile fashion and music site.

The winner will be District MTV’s official video presenter during London Fashion Week SS14, from 13 – 17 September 2013.

The winner will receive a trip to London with accommodation, during which they will receive presenter training and mentoring from MTV, film with the District MTV crew at London Fashion Week and take home a showreel to help further their career. Select Model Management will also offer the winner mentoring and they could be in with a chance to sign up for a modelling or special bookings contract for a year.

Melanie Hick, District MTV Editor-In-Chief said “We are on the look out for emerging male or female presenters with great presence, a unique point of view and real passion for street style, fashion and pop music. We want to help give amazing young people a kick start in their career as a presenter, and with mentoring, broadcast experience and a showreel to take home, this competition should do exactly that.”

The judging panel includes Melanie Hick, Editor-In-Chief, District MTV, Helen Job, Fashion Director, District MTV, Kirsty Reilly, Head of Special Bookings, at Select Model Management and Laura Whitmore, official MTV Presenter.
