AW12 sees British brand Farrell bring to the forefront key pieces pulling inspiration from the Military Inspired theme and of course staying right on top of the trends for the season. The level of detail and craftsmanship that has gone into each piece, highlights the brands dedication to quality.
Brought to the table for Autumn/Winter 2012 Farrell introduces us to the British Warm, a Military inspired coat made famous by Winston Churchill.
A true statement of all we know as British fashion and a must have item for your wardrobes this season. The British Warm has been given that ever so elegant Farrell touch, taking this classic silhouette and making it appropriate for the man of today by implementing the use of modern fabrics and garment construction.
Available in a Camel Melton wool option and a bold herringbone, both styles reflect Farrell’s dedication of traditional Savile Row tailoring with the collar, rever and pockets finished with pick-stitching a method made famous by the Savile Row tailor.
After some more from Farrell? Then the Mariners Peacoat is a key piece not to be overlooked either! Revamped to reflect the style and time of AW12, the Mariners Peacoat is designed to a more slimmer more contemporary fit than its predecessor.
Produced in a compact Melton wool, the British made fabric resists the wet and windy UK weather, whilst not losing any of its comfort in retaining a soft feel using a 100% cotton twill lining.
Once again keeping in line with the Military theme this AW12, ket details include the traditional oversized anchor buttons enabling easier buttoning up in the winter months.
Both the British Warm and Mariners Peacoat are available at: House of Fraser/ Selfridges / Farrell.com
