EVENT: Alice Waese at 18 Hewett Street

Protein presents Alice Waese, the Canadian-born artist and designer is returning to London to launch her first UK solo show at 18 Hewett Street.

Trained in both garment design and fine art, Protein have kept a close eye on Aliceʼs pieces for a while now (check out the Protein Profile compiled last year: http://bit.ly/SXQERS) and are excited to welcome her back to their space. We are also excited to check out her work close up too!

Aliceʼs show, which is taking place straight after Paris Fashion Week where sheʼs debuting a special collaboration with SOME/THINGS, will feature a selection of drawings and jewelry that have never been shown before in the UK. Intricate, delicate and a little dark, Aliceʼs hand drawn artworks will be displayed alongside her sculptural pieces that reveal the experimental artistry of her process. Her items are seasonless, and she is now internationally stocked in leading stores including Hostem, Aʼmarreʼs, The Number 4 and Zero + Maria Cornejo LA.
