Original Penguin Plugged-In Session ft. Jake Bugg [RECAP]
17
Sep
Taking time out from his current tour with music legend Noel Gallagher. Jake played an exclusive set in the heart of east London at the iconic Queen of Hoxton venue. The rising star performed a number of tracks from his debut album, including Lightening Bolt and new single Two Fingers!
The first of the unique Plugged In sessions attracted a strong crowd of both music and fashion media, in addition to fellow musicians including Pixie Lott, Miles Kane and Beady Eye!
Since the birth of Original Penguin in the 1950’s, when Rock & Roll dominated youth culture, the brand has always had strong links with music. In 2012 Original Penguin continues to grow and evolve alongside the sub-cultural landscape, embracing all music genres and discovering the connections and the influences that power the most exciting bands and artists!
This Autumn Original Penguin will activate the multi-platform music initiative Plugged In, which will celebrate music from the past, present and future!
The projects will explore both what inspires artists style and their music. Plugged In will enable Original Penguin to communicate with music fans about a subject that is equally as important to them as fashion and style, sharing a common passion!
Working with a number of like minded partners Plugged In will curate a series of projects, which will aim to engage music fans, by utilizing a range of portals, including TV, social media and experiential activity!
