Well, it’s official: The Victoria’s Secret flagship store on London’s New Bond Street is now open.
Originally due to open to coincide with the Olympics, the four-floor lingerie boutique finally opened its heavily guarded doors this morning to a crowd of eager fans.
Alongside the super-attentive (and super SUPER smiley) sales assistants, the store itself is as elegant and opulent as prophesied.
Walking through the foyer on the ground floor you will find an exclusive atrium filled with Victoria’s Secret beauty products – from primer to fragrance – and a selection of their best selling lingerie lining the walls.

If lounge-wear is more to your taste, descend down the mirrored staircase to find PINK, or head up to the 1st floor for Victoria’s Secret’s exclusive London collection.
For big spenders, the VIP area on the top floor is as luxurious as you may expect; with sumptuous armchairs, colossal changing rooms and intimate black and white photographs of some of Victoria’s Secret’s most famous faces. Sit back, relax, and sip on champagne whilst you check out the latest looks for the season. (You may, however, wish to bring along your credit card, as the price-range is a little more advantageous than one would expect to pay in dollars)

Nonetheless, the most amazing thing about the store, in my opinion, is the staircase. Covered in angled mirrors and twisted into a glacial coil, the stairs coax, cajole and implore you to see more of what the deluxe store has to offer. Set in front of gigantic screens displaying the most unattainably toned bodies in top-of-the-range Victoria’s Secret lingerie, the staircase really is a spectacle in it’s own right.

Go see it. It will invite you upstairs for more…
