We have a lot of new brands headed our way this 2012 and one that has been brought to our attention is ZDDZ London.

ZDDZ is a directional and exciting project by Dasha. The focus of ZDDZ is a quality that allows its clients to not only own a directional, yet wearable and practical garment, but to own a piece that holds character. “Beautiful, awkward and chic” – ZDDZ’s latest collection emphasises a contradiction of traditional aesthetics.

Designer Dasha, has drawn inspiration from her graphic and illustrative background and infused the AW12/13 collection with contemporary and distorted prints, exquisite materials of silk and satin and androgynous suits.

The rawness, heritage and dark history of life in urban Russia is translated in statement graphic prints on modern versions of retro classic staples such as bomber jackets and oversized printed blouses. Each printed piece in the ZDDZ AW12/13 collection describes social commentary, whilst demonstrating an advance use of colour and composition that accentuates the female figure.

What we love about the range presented from ZDDZ for AW12 is its play on boyish looks for the ladies and still combining great feminine style. A great range of dresses, classic suits and a cool range of tops makes it a nice range to choose and pick statement pieces from for various occasions!
