Converse x Footpatrol Collaboration
Footpatrol who are definitely one of the go-to retailer to get some of the world’s most exclusive footwear styles from definitely fits the bill when it comes to something of this caliber with a brand like Converse. Working closely with Converse, Footpatrol brings their sneaker expertise and distinct aesthetic to two new Converse Pro Leather styles.
This collaboration sees fresh versions of the iconic Converse Pro Leather shoe, with Footpatrol working with Converse to create both a high and low-top version of the shoe.
“We were excited to work with one of the most definitive sneakers of all time. We wanted to honor the silhouette and add fresh, modern colors and patterns that we love,” says Footpatrol General Manager John Brotherhood.
Each Footpatrol for Converse Pro Leather shoe features modern, nubuck leathers with monochromatic toned uppers and patterned detailing. A woven jacquard material accents the tongue and heel of the grey high-top and an Aztec inspired pattern graces the tongue and heel of the spearmint green upper of the low-top version. Rounding out the design, Footpatrol’s signature gasmask branding is subtly debossed on the shoe’s heel, as well as screen printed on the shoe’s sock liner.
Converse First String is a limited-edition collection that celebrates craftsmanship, authenticity and collaboration at the highest level. The shoes will be available beginning June 29, 2012 at Footpatrol in London and Converse First String Retailers globally.
