‘London By Bike’ Photography Competition
Londoner’s with an eye for a great shot have been snapping away across the capital, capturing ‘London by Bike’ for a chance to be shortlisted in a high profile photography competition. Now with over 500 entries the competition is hotting up and budding photographers still have a couple days left to enter!
‘London by Bike’, supported by Barclays, is looking to find professional and amateur snappers that can capture the adventure, inspiration and beauty of cycling in the city. The winning entries will receive a deluxe London cycling weekend prize including £1,500 of cycling equipment, sumptuous 5* hotel stay and a visit to Dinner by Heston Blumenthal at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London. In addition the two top snappers will get the chance for their iconic shots to be viewed by thousands this summer across 300 Barclays branches in the city and South East.
The competition will be judged by an expert panel, including innovative photographer Nick Turpin who spearheaded the street photography movement in the UK.
Whether you’re a seasoned photographer or simply a cycling enthusiast with an eye for a good shot, anyone can enter. As long as your image reflects cycling in London, whether its commuters on the journey to work or capturing London’s landmarks through the spokes of a wheel, you can enter easily by visiting the “Barclays Bikes” Facebook page.
