BAPE Autumn/Winter 2011 Collection Look Book

A Japanese streetwear brand, adored by American rappers and streetwear-heads alike finally release their long-awaited Womenswear line, there would be a number of names you would expect them to use to head up their debut campaign and I’m pretty sure Daisy Lowe wasn’t one of them, but then again this is BAPE after all,  the same company who ever so shamelessly produced $100 toilet paper, so the hiring of the New-Age English Rose as their new female face shouldn’t come to much of a surprise, the collection itself however, does.

There isn’t a single t-shirt or hoody in sight, instead they’ve decided go for a more polished look with cut & sew pieces; Playsuits, dresses, knitwear, blazers, their trademark camouflage print  instead be replaced with cutesy florals and animal prints bringing together a surprisingly feminine collection far removed from the expected female hype-beats look, resulting in something resembling  Fred Perry more than anything we’ve seen from them before.

The womeswear collection is out now and is exclusive to BAPE EU, with prices starting from, T-Shirt £65, Crewneck £180, Dress £265, Jacket £400, Jeans £195
