theCool World: Vans X Santigold Collaboration

Now this is a collaboration worth waiting for! Vans collaborate with the stylistic, musically orientated Santi White to bring out a classic hightop Vans for us to admire!

Songwriter, Producer and Singer Santigold, (or you may know her as Santogold) is definitely a breathe of fresh air on the music scene. She established her presence internationally with the  2008 pure genius album ‘Santogold’ which had her working with the likes of Jay-Z, David Byrne, Major Lazer, Beastie Boys and others. And we are definitely in high anticipation of her new album which should be out this 2011!

Now if you’ve seen a pic of Santi, you’ll know she’s one who dares to be different and her style is highly respected as well as her passion for Vans, which is why this collaboration is definitely not one to be overlooked!

Now what this collab is evident of is the originality of the design. Working with the new Tosha Hi silhouette and Santi’s personal design aesthetic, the limited Vans x Santigold collaboration features premium perforated full grain leather, faux gold chain accents.  The look becomes complete with a custom SG gold pin created with the trained eye of jewellery designer Jules Kim of Bijules.
